Law on Transparent and Predictable Working Conditions!

The fast-paced development in economies worldwide have undoubtedly led to many changes in the employment sector.

The Republic of Cyprus, being an attractive and upcoming business-hub, could not have remained simply an observer. Thus and in attempt to modernize its current legislative framework, the Cyprus Parliament in April 2023, enacted the Law on Transparent and Predictable Working Conditions (25(I)/2023) which essentially implements into national legislation, the European Union (EU) Directive (2019/1152), aiming, among others, to provide a number of new employees’ rights.
