We are excited to announce that Patrikios Legal will be organizing a Summer Internship program for 2nd-year law students and above. This is a great opportunity for aspiring legal professionals to gain valuable experience and insight into how a law firm works.

  • Duration: 1 week
  • Time: 09:00 – 13:30
  • Compensation: Unpaid

Join us for a week of hands-on learning, where you will have the chance to work alongside experienced lawyers, participate in real-world legal tasks and enhance your understanding of corporate and litigation law practices.

Secretary

Patrikios Legal is seeking a highly skilled and organized Secretary to provide administrative support to the lawyers/partners of our corporate and finance department. The ideal candidate is required to possess exceptional communication and writing skills in Greek and in English and to have a keen eye for detail. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the corporate and finance department, (and where necessary to the litigation department), including secretarial work, managing schedules and coordinating meetings.
  • Document Management: Prepare, type, store/save documents in the prescribed manner, proofread, and edit documents, correspondence, reports, and presentations with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external communications (including answering telephones where necessary, welcoming and seating clients, responding to e-mails), demonstrating excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and following up on action items.
  • File Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic and paper filing systems for easy retrieval of documents. Manage closed cases and follow-up with the status (ensuring originals are delivered to the clients, checking the status of pending invoices with the accounts department, sending originals if any and closing the file).
  • Copying and Scanning: Make copies, print and scan documents as required, ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of all materials.
  • Follow-Up Emails: Reply to emails promptly and professionally, managing the inbox and ensuring timely responses to inquiries while maintaining communication flow.
  • Register for conferences, webinars and events: perform registrations on behalf of lawyers or partners for conferences, seminars and other events, downloading agenda, programme and presentations and follow up conferences after conclusion as assigned by lawyers or partners.
  • General Secretarial Duties: Perform common secretarial duties such as for example answering phones, typing, organising casefiles, managing databases, prioritising workloads, co-ordinating publicity/marketing tasks, implementing administrative systems and procedures, greeting clients, and managing office supplies.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
  • Client Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, responding to inquiries and providing information as needed.
  • Project Support: Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned by the lawyers or partners.
  • Cover Letters: Prepare cover letters for each case as required.
  • Courier Services: Coordinate and manage courier services for sending and receiving documents.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel plans including booking flights, accommodations and transportation.
  • Filing: Maintain accurate filing systems both electronically and physically.
  • Government Interaction: Communicate and liaise with government and semi governmental and other offices and officials as necessary for various corporate or other operations, including assisting with the filing of documents to such governmental and semi governmental offices.
  • Company Searches: conducting company searches or other searches as required.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree or secretarial certification is preferred.
  • experience as a secretary, personal secretary or administrative assistant, will be as advantage
  • Exceptional English and Greek communication and writing skills
  • Microsoft Office excellent knowledge
  • Knowledge of using AI tools will be considered an additional qualification
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various departments.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
